Synopsis: In MEASURE FOR TREASURE, Professor Einzeit confronts the concept of measuring armed with paper clips, marbles, space aliens, and other objects he finds lying around his laboratory. He demonstrates how to measure distance, mass, volume and time, and discusses the differences between measuring and comparing. After some confusion, he and his assistant, Irving, discover the importance of using standard units of measure. When the work is over, Irving surprises Einzeit with a birthday party, and the neighborhood kids present him with a MEASURE FOR TREASURE game, complete with pirate costume and treasure map. Professor Einzeit uses his measuring skills to follow the map and uncover a treasure trove of vital measuring tools. |
